Meet Dr. Sofia Ramirez

Dr. Sofia Ramirez is an educator and child development specialist with over 20 years of experience supporting children and families through developmentally informed educational practices. She holds a Child Development and Educational Specialist credential. She has extensive experience in early childhood education, language development, and cognitive learning foundations.

Throughout her career, Dr. Ramirez has worked closely with children during the most important years of development, supporting the growth of communication, executive functioning, critical thinking, problem-solving, and social-emotional skills through meaningful interaction and individualized support.

In addition to her work with children and families, Dr. Ramirez served as a teacher credential program director, where she prepared future educators using evidence-based practices and current research in child development and learning. Her professional background has given her a deep understanding of how early experiences shape cognitive growth, language development, curiosity, and lifelong learning.

Dr. Ramirez founded Curious Minds with the belief that the early years of childhood represent a uniquely important window for development. Her philosophy centers on the understanding that curiosity fosters learning and that children thrive when they are engaged through responsive interaction, intentional experiences, and relationship-based support.

At Curious Minds, Dr. Ramirez partners closely with families to create individualized enrichment experiences that nurture each child’s natural strengths, confidence, communication, executive functioning, and cognitive potential during the foundational years of development.
